Enlarged Prostate and Urinary Retention Treatment

The UroLift® System is an effective treatment for an enlarged prostate, also known as BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia).

Using this minimally invasive method, Dr. Ryan Terlecki places tiny implants to hold the prostate lobes apart, thereby relieving compression on the urethra and allowing urine to flow with less resistance.

With the UroLift System, there is no cutting, heating, or removal of prostate tissue necessary. Additionally, this treatment can be performed in an outpatient setting.

UroLift is also shown to be a safe and effective treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms due to BPH without causing erectile or ejaculatory dysfunction.
